Well, I'm back from a fabulous holiday in Cape Town, South Africa. I got to see my brother for the first time in years and catch up with a few old friends. C: Oh... and of course, eat copious amounts of delicious food - I've finally tried tempura.
I also got a sneak preview of
Art class is going well, I'm doing a Renoir painting in acrylics that should be finished today. I think that's her way of seeing what direction to help us in going and to see what interests us. I would choose an insanely difficult picture...
Now, it's back to reality and I've followed a friend's advice and have put up a list of deadlines on my wall for all these little orphan projects I've started over the years and never finished. So far so good, I've finished a painting for a friend's birthday and a tattoo design. The plan is to finish all these things before our Summer holiday in a month, then do a bunch of anatomy and art tuts so that I can start my graphic novel (which everyone is bored to death of hearing about).
